Breathable, Wicking Fabric With Inbuilt Moisture Management System

COOLMAX® is a high-tech fabric specifically and uniquely engineered to keep users dry, cool and comfortable when they start to perspire.

How it works:

Made from a 4 or 6 channel fibre which forms a transport system that pulls moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric. It then dries that moisture faster than competitive fabric and thereby thermoregulates the body by a process called evaporative cooling, thus creating a breathable and moisture wicking fabric.

Moisture Management

COOLMAX® moves and transports perspiration outside of the body where it quickly evaporates thus reducing the skin to irritation and other attributes that cause skin to chafe.

Superior Overall Comfort and Extra Softness

The fine denier of the special fibres used in COOLMAX® gives the fabric a very soft and supple feel. Chaffree has the additional benefit of a softness, luxury, ‘second skin’ lightweight feel.

Chaffree garments have various intensity levels depending on which garment you choose, thus allowing for more absorbency in higher perspiring areas.

COOLMAX® is a quick drying, easy care fabric that is machine washable. Whilst COOLMAX® fabric is dryable it is advised against putting the garments into a tumble dryer as they contain a small amount of elastane. For best results wash at 30°C  (degrees celsius) and then air dry.

Anti-Bacterial

Many health professionals have determined that the temperature and humidity of the skin are among the recurrent factors implicated in problems with infected or irritated skin. Most experts now recommend that you avoid wearing undergarments that don’t let the skin breath. After much testing by reputable bacteriologists ad specialists in medical fields, COOLMAX® fabric seems to be the most appropriate answer.

The bacteriostatic properties in COOLMAX®  help to maintain the balance of micro organisms which are present on the surface of the skin and essential to our health. COOLMAX® prevents the proliferation of harmful bacteria without destroying the bacteria that we need to be healthy. As COOLMAX® hasn’t been treated by any chemical process and doesn’t contain any bactericidal products, all the bacteriostatic qualities of moisture evacuation, will last as long as the product itself (tests conducted through more than 250 washes).

Gusset

Chaffree garments are made from COOLMAX® with the added benefit of 8% elastane thus allowing for extra stretch whilst still keeping the shape and ‘second skin’ feel of the  garment.

For extra comfort and added health benefits, the gusset of Chaffree Ladies KnickerBoxers, Briefs and Mens Boxer Shorts have been extended and double woven with COOLMAX® to allow for more absorbency and to aid the faster evaporation of perspiration.
